This stock adapter is used for mounting picatinny-style stocks or braces on compatible platforms while incorporating a flange that allows use of a standard takedown pin, detent, and spring. It features a matte black finish and includes an externally threaded adapter plug, rail section, and fastening hardware. The product type is a stock adapter, commonly categorized under rifle stock components. In typical setups, the KNS Precision AR-MCX Adapter with Flange installs into the buffer tube socket and secures with a hex-socket bolt and lock washer.
