Privacy Policy
TactaBlue LLC ("TactaBlue," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through https://tactablue.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Who We Are
TactaBlue LLC is a New York limited liability company. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@tactablue.com or at the address in Section 12.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account and contact information — name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and password when you register or place an Order.
- Order and transaction information — items purchased, order value, and records of your purchases and returns.
- Verification information — information used to confirm age, eligibility, or identity when required for certain Products or to prevent fraud.
- Communications — messages, support requests, and product reviews you send us.
- Business-account information — company details you provide when applying for a business or agency account.
Information collected automatically:
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with the Site.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used for essential site functions (such as your cart and login), preferences, analytics, and marketing. See Section 6.
Information we do not collect: We use a third-party payment processor and do not collect or store your full payment card number or CVV on our systems. See Section 4.
3. Why We Collect It and Our Legal Bases
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your Account and process, fulfill, and deliver your Orders;
- Verify age, eligibility, and identity where required by law or to prevent fraud, and to comply with restrictions on Regulated Products;
- Communicate with you about Orders, returns, and support;
- Send marketing emails and newsletters only if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and, where offered, through ACH bank-transfer processing for approved business accounts. When you check out, your payment details are transmitted directly to the processor. We receive limited information such as a confirmation of payment, the card brand, and the last four digits, but we do not store your full card number. Your payment information is handled in accordance with the processor's own privacy and security practices and applicable PCI-DSS standards.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers — payment processors, shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS), our e-commerce platform (WooCommerce/WordPress hosting), email, analytics, fraud-prevention, and customer-support vendors, who may use it only to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TactaBlue, our customers, or others, including compliance with laws governing Regulated Products.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, analytics, and marketing. We may use analytics and advertising services such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the Site is used and to measure and improve our marketing. These providers may set their own cookies and process data under their own policies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of certain analytics/advertising cookies where the provider's tools are available. Because some advertising technologies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, California residents may also opt out by emailing support@tactablue.com (see Section 9). Blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Site, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations (including records related to Regulated Products), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit at checkout and use of a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your Account credentials and notify us at support@tactablue.com of any suspected unauthorized access.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your information;
- Opt out of marketing communications; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email support@tactablue.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the rights described above, including the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Under California law, "sharing" specifically includes disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money is exchanged. Depending on how our analytics and advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel) are configured, our use of certain advertising cookies, pixels, or similar technologies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. California residents may opt out of any such sale or sharing, and exercise any other California privacy right, by emailing us at support@tactablue.com. You may also limit tracking by adjusting your browser and cookie settings. TactaBlue does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support@tactablue.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be effective when posted; your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.
