The Magpul Industries MBUS Back-Up Rear Sight Gen 2 is a flip-up rear rifle sight designed for aiming on Picatinny rail-equipped firearms.

The Magpul Industries MBUS Back-Up Rear Sight Gen 2 features a spring-loaded flip-up design that can be activated from either side or by pressing the top. This model fits most 1913 Picatinny rails and includes a Black polymer construction that provides reduced weight and resistance to routine handling. It incorporates dual same-plane apertures protected by side wings and a detent knob that allows windage adjustment. The detent and spring system secures the sight while permitting folding under impact. This product is used for rear sight alignment in rifle configurations and is tailored for AR15 and M16 platforms. In standard configurations, the Magpul Industries MBUS Back-Up Rear Sight Gen 2 functions as a rear iron sight in long gun sight assemblies.
