The Magpul Industries MBUS Back-Up Front Sight Gen 2 MAG247-BLK is a rifle sight designed for providing a secondary aiming solution. This front sight mounts to Picatinny rails and deploys using a spring-loaded flip-up mechanism.

The Magpul Industries MBUS Back-Up Front Sight Gen 2 MAG247-BLK is constructed from polymer for reduced weight and resistance to impact in field use. It features protective wings around the A2 front sight post and allows elevation adjustment for alignment. This model fits most 1913 Picatinny rail systems and is commonly used on AR15 and M16 platforms. The sight can be activated from either side or by pressing the top, and it locks into position with detent and spring pressure. In typical setups, the Magpul Industries MBUS Back-Up Front Sight Gen 2 MAG247-BLK folds flat when not in use and deploys when needed as a backup aiming component.
