The Magpul Industries MOE AKM Handguard is a rifle handguard designed for replacing factory handguards on AK-pattern rifles.

The Magpul Industries MOE AKM Handguard features heat-resistant polymer construction and an integrated heat shield for controlled thermal management during sustained use. It is designed to fit stamped receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 platforms with a front sling loop on the handguard retainer, excluding Yugo pattern rifles and RPK-style receivers. This model includes M-LOK mounting slots at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions for accessory attachment. In standard configurations, the Magpul Industries MOE AKM Handguard measures approximately 1.5 inches shorter than the Zhukov variant and includes a replacement gas tube cover. This product is used for modernizing AK rifle forends while maintaining compatibility with standard mounting interfaces.
