The Magpul Industries MOE AKM Handguard is a rifle handguard designed for replacing factory handguards on AK-pattern rifles.

The Magpul Industries MOE AKM Handguard is constructed from heat-resistant polymer and includes an integrated heat shield to manage operating temperatures. It fits stamped receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 rifles equipped with a front sling loop on the handguard retainer, excluding Yugo pattern and RPK-style receivers. This model incorporates M-LOK mounting slots at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions for accessory compatibility. In normal operation, the Magpul Industries MOE AKM Handguard includes a replacement gas tube cover and provides an extended gripping area for handling control. This product is used for replacing standard AK handguards with a modular interface and updated material design.
