The Midwest Industries Alpha AK Railed Top Cover/Dust Cover Flat Dark Earth is a railed dust cover designed for mounting optics on AKM pattern rifles. This dust cover provides a Picatinny rail interface and is intended for use with Midwest Industries Alpha Series handguards.

The Midwest Industries Alpha AK Railed Top Cover/Dust Cover Flat Dark Earth is constructed from 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish and includes an adjustable locking block for compatibility with most AK firearms. This model features two aluminum and two steel stability struts and a dedicated recoil spring button for the Alpha system. In typical setups, this railed dust cover maintains the factory rear sight with a lower 1/3 cowitness sight picture. The unit installs without permanent modifications and is suited for range use where repeatable optic positioning is required.
