Walther Parts and Upgrades
Walther parts cover Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement components and aftermarket performance upgrades for all current Walther pistol platforms, including the Performance Duty Pistol (PDP), PPQ, P22, PPK, PPK/S, CCP, PK380, PD380, Q5 Match, and Walther Magnum Pistol (WMP). Carl Walther GmbH, founded in 1886 in Ulm, Germany, manufactures pistols, rifles, and spare parts distributed through Walther Arms in the United States. Walther parts encompass triggers, slides, barrels, recoil springs, firing pins, extractors, grips, sights, magwells, magazines, and frame components that maintain or improve pistol function.
TactaBlue stocks Walther OEM factory parts and aftermarket components from brands including LOK Grips, Tandemkross, and Viridian. All parts ship with free ground shipping to the contiguous 48 states within 1 business day.
Walther PDP and PPQ Parts
The Walther PDP replaced the PPQ as Walther's primary duty and carry pistol in 2021. PDP parts include slides, barrels, recoil guide rod assemblies, striker assemblies, trigger groups, optic plates, magwells, backstraps, and grip modules. The PDP uses a polymer frame with a steel slide and a striker-fired action. PDP slides accept direct optic mounting through Walther's proprietary optic cut system, and Gen 2 optic cuts provide expanded compatibility with red dot sights from Trijicon, Holosun, Leupold, and Aimpoint.
PPQ parts remain available for the PPQ M1 (paddle magazine release) and PPQ M2 (button magazine release) variants. The PPQ M2 and PDP Compact share magazine compatibility — PPQ M2 9mm 15-round magazines fit the PDP Compact. The PDP Full Size uses 18-round magazines that do not fit the PPQ M2. The Dynamic Performance Trigger is a factory Walther trigger upgrade that reduces pull weight and improves reset for both PDP and PPQ platforms.
PDP Compensators and Threaded Barrels
Walther PDP compensators reduce muzzle rise by redirecting propellant gas through ported chambers. The Walther PDP 4-inch compensator mounts directly to PDP 4-inch barrels without a threaded barrel requirement and is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum. Herrington Arms produces the HCPDP and HCPDPXL compensators for standard and XL PDP barrel lengths. Parker Mountain Machine (PMM) manufactures barrel and compensator combos that replace the factory barrel with a threaded unit and matched compensator. The Walther PDP Pro-X is a factory-compensated PDP built in collaboration with Parker Mountain Machine, featuring an integrated PMM single-port compensator, a 5.1-inch threaded polygon barrel, and the Dynamic Performance Trigger.
Walther P22 Parts
The Walther P22 is a .22 Long Rifle (LR) rimfire pistol with a 3.42-inch (86.9 mm) barrel, zinc alloy slide, and polymer frame. P22 parts include barrels, barrel adapters, magazines, recoil springs, firing pins, extractors, grip panels, and sights. The P22 uses an internal hammer-fired action with a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger and an external slide-mounted safety/decocker.
The P22 threaded barrel adapter (Walther item number 512105) converts the factory M8x0.75 barrel threads to 1/2x28 threads, which is the standard thread pitch for .22 LR suppressors and muzzle devices in the United States. The P22Q variant features an accessory rail for lights and lasers. P22 California (P22 CA) models ship with 10-round magazines and comply with California Roster requirements.
Walther PPK and PPK/S Parts
The Walther PPK and PPK/S are blowback-operated, hammer-fired .380 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) compact pistols. PPK parts include magazines, recoil springs, grips, firing pins, extractors, decocker levers, and sear springs. The PPK has a 3.3-inch (83.8 mm) barrel and a 6-round magazine. The PPK/S has a longer grip frame that accepts a 7-round magazine. Both models use a fixed barrel design and a DA/SA trigger with a frame-mounted decocker/safety.
LOK Grips produces G10 grip panel sets for the PPK in multiple textures and colors. Factory PPK and PPK/S magazines are available in nickel and blued finishes from Walther Arms. Walther suspended production of the PPK, PPK/S, and PP Legacy Products, making OEM replacement parts available while factory inventory lasts.
Walther WMP Parts
The Walther Magnum Pistol (WMP) is a .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) semi-automatic pistol with a 4.5-inch (114.3 mm) barrel and a 15-round magazine. WMP parts include the WMP slide catch spring (item 522.20.22.1), WMP trigger spring (522.20.28.1), WMP slide catch (522.20.21.1), WMP left paddle magazine release (522.10.05.1), WMP magazine catch (522.10.03.1), WMP firing pin catch (522.40.04.1), WMP locking block screw (522.50.04.3), WMP rear sight base screw (522.40.17.3), and WMP trigger bar spring (522.20.04.1). WMP parts are restricted from shipping to California.
Walther CCP and PK380 Parts
The Walther CCP (Concealed Carry Pistol) uses a gas-delayed blowback system that reduces felt recoil compared to traditional blowback designs. The CCP M2 in .380 ACP uses an 8-round magazine, and the CCP in 9mm uses an 8-round magazine. CCP parts include recoil springs, firing pins, and magazines.
The Walther PK380 and PD380 are hammer-fired .380 ACP pistols. The PD380 uses a 9-round stainless steel magazine that also fits the PK380. Walther offers a PK380 and PD380 6-pack magazine bundle with a magazine carrier for range and training use.
Walther PPS Parts
The Walther PPS (Police Pistol Slim) is a single-stack 9mm subcompact pistol designed for concealed carry. PPS parts include the take-down lever (item 2686287), striker safety plunger (2687216), and striker guide (2687348). These components are restricted from shipping to California. The PPS M2 variant replaced the original PPS paddle magazine release with a push-button release.

Walther Parts Compatibility
Walther pistol parts are not universally interchangeable across models. The PDP and PPQ share some components (magazines in compact variants, striker assemblies, optic plates) but use different slide profiles, barrel lockup geometries, and trigger group housings. P22 parts are specific to the P22 platform and do not interchange with any centerfire Walther model. PPK and PPK/S parts are model-specific and do not fit PDP, PPQ, or P22 pistols.
The Q5 Match uses PPQ-pattern magazines and accepts PPQ M2 trigger components. PDP slides accept Gen 1 or Gen 2 optic plates depending on the serial number range — PDP pistols with serial numbers beginning with FCA0001 or later use the updated striker spring keeper. Verify the serial number prefix before ordering PDP-specific internal parts.
USPSA Division Notes
Walther PDP and Q5 Match pistols compete in United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Carry Optics and Production divisions. The PDP Pro-X with its factory PMM compensator competes in Carry Optics with the compensator installed. Aftermarket compensators added to standard PDP models move the pistol from Production to Carry Optics or Open division depending on optic configuration. The Dynamic Performance Trigger is USPSA-legal in all divisions that accept the PDP platform.
State Shipping Restrictions
Walther magazines exceeding state capacity limits are restricted from shipping to California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. WMP and PPS internal parts are restricted from shipping to California. TactaBlue does not ship restricted items to jurisdictions where possession is prohibited. Verify state and local laws before purchasing Walther parts and magazines.
