The Griffin Armament Gen 2 QD Blast Shield is a blast diverter designed for directing muzzle blast forward on compatible muzzle devices. This Griffin Armament Gen 2 QD Blast Shield fits A2 compensators and provides a quick detach interface for 5.56mm and 7.62mm platforms.

It features 17-4PH stainless steel construction with a Melonite QPQ finish for corrosion resistance and durability. The blast diverter attaches using a quick detach mechanism and is designed to fit USGI A2 compensators, with included shim set and over-travel stop washer for installation. This product is used for redirecting blast and is compatible with select Griffin Armament Gate-LOK mounts in 5.56mm and 7.62mm. In typical setups, the Griffin Armament Gen 2 QD Blast Shield provides forward blast direction in close-range or team environments. The fluted body increases surface area and supports heat dissipation during range use.
