Product description
The Geissele Automatics Reaction Rod is an armorer tool designed for securing AR-10 and SR25 upper receivers during barrel and component installation.
This armorer tool is constructed from 4140 chrome moly steel and is compatible with 7.62 NATO platforms. It allows torque from barrel nut wrenches to be transferred directly into the barrel extension. The rod features integral splines that engage the barrel extension to prevent rotation during service work. This product is used for installing barrels, flash hiders, gas blocks, and handguards without applying stress to the receiver. In normal operation, the Geissele Automatics Reaction Rod is secured in a bench vise for horizontal or vertical use. The design helps prevent marring of the receiver finish and maintains consistent alignment during armorer tasks.
