The Crimson Trace Corporation LG-489 Laserguard is designed to fit Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm and .40 S&W pistols and mounts securely around the trigger guard. It uses instinctive activation that engages the laser when a natural firing grip is applied. The unit is finished in black and supports user adjustment for windage and elevation. In normal operation, this laser sight is user-installed without gunsmithing and provides a compact mounting interface. The Laserguard is used for field carry or range use in standard shooting configurations.
