It features a 16 inch cold hammer forged lightweight profile barrel with a mid length gas system and a 1:7 twist rate. This Daniel Defense DDM4V7 Lightweight Complete Upper includes a free floating MFR 15 inch handguard with M-LOK attachment slots and a continuous Picatinny top rail.

The Daniel Defense DDM4V7 Lightweight Complete Upper is chambered in 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO and includes an M16 profile bolt carrier group. The lightweight barrel profile reduces overall front end weight compared to standard profiles, while maintaining compatibility with standard AR components. It also includes an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle with gas redirect features. Finished in black, this AR upper receiver supports modular accessory mounting through its M-LOK interface.
