Product description
The Faxon Firearms Bolt Carrier Group 5.56NATO Fits AR-15 Titanium Nitride PVD Coated is a bolt carrier group designed for cycling and firing operations in AR-15 rifle platforms. This Faxon Firearms bolt carrier group is chambered for 5.56 NATO and features a titanium nitride coated carrier and gas key with a salt bath nitrided bolt.
The assembly uses a 9310 tool steel bolt with full MIL-SPEC heat treatment and magnetic particle inspection. It includes an S7 extractor, forward assist serrations, and a superfinished carrier body. The bolt carrier group is full auto compatible and incorporates a spring, insert, and Crane O-ring. In standard configurations, the nitrided bolt and TiN coated surfaces provide corrosion resistance and surface hardness for rifle operation, while the AR-15 compatible interface supports installation in common rifle builds.
