The Faxon Firearms Match Series barrel features 416-R stainless steel construction with 5R button rifling and a 1:10 twist rate. It includes a heavy fluted profile, a rifle length gas system, and a .750 inch gas block diameter with a 1.1 inch journal length. The barrel is finished with salt bath nitride inside and out and uses a 5/8×24 muzzle thread. This rifle barrel fits AR10 platforms with a DPMS LR-308 compatible extension coated in nickel Teflon. In standard configurations, the 20 inch length and 2.25 pound weight support stable rifle setups for range use.
