The Fortis Manufacturing, Inc. Billet Dust Cover is produced from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum and features a Type III hardcoat anodized gray finish. This AR-15 dust cover has a length of 3.13 inches and a width of 0.885 inches, weighing 0.4 ounces. It is designed for installation on mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and includes a spring and C-clip. This product is used for reducing exposure of internal components to external debris. In normal operation, this rifle dust cover fits .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO compatible rifles and maintains consistent closure. The component is made in the USA.
