This compensator is constructed from steel and finished in black for corrosion resistance. It uses a 1/2×28 thread pattern for compatibility with standard .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO barrels. The Strike Industries JCOMP Gen2 Compensator includes pre-drilled holes for pinning and welding applications. This product is used for directing propellant gases at the muzzle during firing. In standard configurations, the device threads onto the barrel and interfaces directly with the bore for secure attachment.
