Product description
The Surefire PROCOMP 762 Muzzle Brake 5/8×24 is a muzzle brake designed for reducing recoil and muzzle movement on 7.62 NATO rifles. This muzzle device fits barrels with 5/8×24 threading and is intended for AR-style rifle platforms. It is designed for consistent operation during repeated firing cycles.
The Surefire PROCOMP 762 Muzzle Brake 5/8×24 is constructed from heat-treated stainless steel with a black Melonite finish for surface protection. It includes precision threads and neutral porting with pilot holes at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions for indexing and tuning. This model fits AR-10 and LR308 style rifles and does not function as a suppressor adapter. In practical use, the muzzle brake supports installation without permanent modification and is used in range environments where a fixed muzzle device is required.
