A Glock 48 extended magazine is an aftermarket or OEM magazine that increases capacity beyond the standard 10 rounds of 9x19mm in the Glock 48 Slimline platform. The Glock 48 is a Slimline 9mm pistol with a 4.17-inch (106 mm) barrel and a 1.10-inch (28 mm) frame width. The OEM Glock 48 magazine holds 10 rounds in a single-stack Slimline configuration. The Glock 48 shares magazine compatibility with the Glock 43X. Both models use the Glock Slimline magazine well. The Glock 48 magazine does not fit the Glock 43 because the G43 uses a narrower single-stack magazine well.

Shield Arms S15 Gen 3 - 15-Round Steel Magazine

The Shield Arms S15 Gen 3 is a 15-round all-metal flush-fit magazine that increases Glock 48 capacity by 50% without extending below the grip. The S15 Gen 3 uses a proprietary internal geometry that stacks 15 rounds of 9mm in the same external dimensions as the OEM 10-round magazine. The S15 Gen 3 requires a Shield Arms S15 steel mag catch for reliable retention because the factory polymer mag catch does not provide adequate retention for all-metal magazine bodies.

The Shield Arms S20 is a 20-round extended magazine for the Glock 43X and Glock 48 that doubles the OEM 10-round capacity. The S20 extends below the grip and provides the highest capacity Shield Arms magazine for the Slimline platform. The S20 requires a Shield Arms S15 steel mag catch.
